Sample at the taproom. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops, melon and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Mother Kelly's. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Sweetish malts, little thin cream. Hops bring a mildly sherbet orange with lesser orange peel and lemon. Good sweet pine. Ripe tropical fruits underneath, touches of pineapple and mango. Light finish brings more hop spice and some citric peel tang. Very nice array of hop flavours. Goes down very nicely.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours cloudy orange with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds dense, semi-ripe citrus fruits, some piney dankness, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with vibrant, almost chewy citrus character, lots of fleshy orange and tangerine, some melon, more bready pale malts, mild bitter pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, with lots more pulpy juice, mild pine, grass, more understated bread now. Great stuff overall. Nice and full.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours turbid deep gold with a medium white head. The aroma is very juicy, fresh, over ripe fruits, persimmon, apricot, brioche, marmalade, candy and some greenness. The taste is smooth, restrained bitterness, a bit green, danky, very ripe fruits, apricot, cracker, hay, onion, chive, pithy, straw, minerals, bit of spice and touch of green banana with a smooth finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and rather quaffable. Good stuff.
