Mostly clear deep gold in color with a huge bubbly white head that persists. Earthy spicy resinous pine with some faint crackery malt underneath. Spicy tasty.

A more acceptable version of a hazed Pale Ale, with enough character provided by the rye to balance out the bright tropical-citrus front. Starts with a burst of papaya, peach, lemon, and passion fruit, then develops a crusty rye center, dry and spicy, before heading into a yeast-tinged citrus finish with a modest rye-and-hop bitterness on the fade. Tasty.
