Murky and cloudy, and without a head. Has a ripe fruit nose...the fruits are indistinct behind a wall of yeastiness. Rye? I guess, since you mentioned it. Fruity, soft, light bitterness. Has a nice fruity papaya character.

[ As Bissell Brothers Lux ].Hazy - murky medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, rye, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, rye, pale malt, tropical fruit, hoppy, medium dry. Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, rye and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of fruit, herbal hops and rye malt. The finish is spicy rye and hops. Pretty good overall.

Mother Kelly's. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly minerally crisp. Smooth malts, creamy sweet, nice light rye tang. Little toffee. Nice hops - resinous tropical fruits with pine. Juicy orange - tangerine. Light fruity finish. Hangs together well.
