Draft. Blackish beer with a light tan head. Nice malty, roasty, chocolate aroma. Chocolate and sweet malt flavor with light roast. Medium bodied. Chocolate and sweet malt lingers with a bit of light lactose sweetness.

Nitro draft at the brew pub as Nitro Black Bart. Didn’t seem all that imperial. Black color with a creamy tan head. Aroma is rather mocha. Flavors are coffee and chocolate; dark roast/toast malt; something of hop bitter. Finish is very smooth. Went quite well with prime rib.
