Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is sweet with wheat and light fruit notes. Flavor is similar with the sweet wheat dominating a bit more and the finish is a bit dry. A bit sweet for me.

Copper color. Apple and a little wheat sweetness. Thin palate. Not very good at all. Not even the color is right.

Pours an unimpressive light amber. Kind of wheat aroma, and the aroma lets you know that it will be quite sweet, which it certainly is. Pretty easy to drink, but ultimately, I would rather drink a beer with more flavor. As with all Spanish Peaks beers, especially if they are discounted to 7 bucks for a six-pack, I worry that they might have been on the shelf for too long.

12 oz bottle purchased at Blue Max in Burnsville, Minnesota. Brewed in LaCrosse, Wisconsin according to the label. Pour is clear golden copper with a noisy 1 1/2 inch off white head. Aroma of some grape fruit sweetness, wheat and menthol yeastiness. Taste is is fruit grape sweetness initially, with some wheat following close behind. The finish is crisp and clean with some mineral and apple notes. Palate is thin to medium, moderate carbonation - easy drinking beer. Simple, but nice.

Bouqet is light lemon, dandelion, and baby food banana. Hazy amber, little to no head with continual streams of carbonation and some lacing. Grassy, sugary, and almost candied. Grass and mint finish. A little hard on the palate but tolerable. Drinkable, but a horrible, almost tragic, misrepresentation of the style.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a largish white head over a clearish golden body. Aroma of wheat and really not much else, possibly light corn and honey. Taste is dust, and rotting orange. Lively bubbles, and a dry mouthfeel.

12 ounce bottle from State Line Liquors. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is bready with tart syrupy fruit notes. Taste is bread, grain, caramel. I have to look very hard to find any sign of hops. Texture is somewhat gummy and weird. Thin-medium bodied. Not a good beer.

Looks like a pale american lager. Sparkling nicely with a creamy almost white head. Very little aroma, just a clean olfactory. Fairly mild flavor with just a hint of bitterness. For the most part, well behaved. Smooth and rather enjoyable. lacks many of the typical ale attributes. Has a constant nagging mild processed background, metallic or something. Citrusy at times. Finish is mild to medium mild industrial linger. If this is brewed by melanie, its one of their best and now I realize why it has that processed background in there.

12oz bottle-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is clove/nutmeg, grain. Taste is clove/nutmeg, grain/light malt-caramel, some spice hops. Easy. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Golden amber color with a decent white head. Aromas of mild spice and slight banana. Near medium body with somewhat creamy carbonation. Flavor is bready wheat with some citrus. Not getting much banana. It’s ok. Don’t think it would stand up to a German, but it’s ok.
