Light and hoppy, with a touch of wheat malt to soften the body and lay the foundation for healthy whirlpool and dry hop additions of Cascade, Chinook, and Meridian hops for a clean fruitiness.

Draft pour pint at the ski lodge. Pours a golden orange color with a foam head and lacing. Aroma is very mild, orange fruit, sweet. Flavor is malt forward, honey, and a lingering sugar sweet finish. Orange fruit makes a good presence, but a mild overall flavor and hop profile altogether.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy golden color with compact head. Pleasant hopping, a bit resiny, with a chamomile touch; the malt profile is rather simple. Ordinary bitterness.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear golden-orange color with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is lightly hopped with citrus and malt notes. Medium body with a relatively low bitterness. Citrusy hops and malt flavors. The finish is mildly bitter hops and lingers a short while. Just average overall.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with amber highlights and no head at all. Aroma of grapefruit and a bit of other hops. Mild taste, medium-bodied; Not strong at all! Aftertaste shows some good hoppy flavours with some malt, but not much at all. Overall, not really much in the way of complexity, but a decent beer throughout. I sampled this beer on draught in Portland, Oregon on 09-September-2006.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy dark golden color with bubbles for head. Light stone fruit aroma. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly peachy, but the bitter is quite strong. Nice low level of malt.

Draft at Hood River Hops Fest 2007. a hazy amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of butter, hops, and malt - and so is the flavor. What’s going on with the butter?
