Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale - a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber brown colour with a thick creamy off-white head. Aroma: grapefruit and tropical fruits, malt. Taste: grapefruit and tropical fruits, malts, pine, initially sweet with a bitter finish. Lovely smooth mouthfeel, light-medium body, soft carbonation. An unexpectedly fantastic beer.

Really oddly sharp. Don't think the pub released the gas from the keg. Was very average and expensive. Not what I remember it being.

Bottle at a tasting. lemony grassy hoppiness in this one, very interesting and fresh feeling. I was surprised there is no special ingredient (herb) included. Easy drinking, rather bitter, I like it.

Cask half-pint at The Euston Tap on 3rd Aug 2016. Clean and clear amber bronze pour, white topping. Malts rule the nose and initial taste with the hops adding bitterness late on in each sip. A bit of red fruit/hedgerow stuff going on too: liked it.
