Keg at the brewpub, 1/3/20. Described as their beer for the holidays. Black, large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate. Taste is roast, cherry, chocolate coffee and a hint of mint. Medium bodied lingering bitterness. Very nice. 16.3k!

Tried this on draft at the brewpub in Ashland. An almost overpowering mint flavor to this one. The first few sips were interesting--it does taste like a mint/chocolate cookie. But by the end, all I could taste was mint and it was a bit like drinking medicine.

One of the highlights of the 2004 Autumn Beer Review. The aroma was coffee and mint. The beer is black with a tan head. the taste is coffee and mint again, just like the name says. Mint is subtle and works well in this beer. Full bodied.
