Cask at GBBF 2018, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Sweet, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, sweet, malty, chocolate, fudge, a little thin but pleasant enough.

Cask at CBC, Shoreditch on 19th November 2017. Almost black with shallow tan foam and travelling lace. Vanilla, cream and chocolaty malt in aroma. Sumptuously sweet chocolate, creamy milk and raisins in-mouth. Finish dies away too quickly, but is sweet and lactic with some roasty malts. Smooth mouthfeel and light to medium body. Rated as a novelty ale.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate and praline. Enticing. Taste - tiramisu kinda sums it up. All the elements - chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and booze. Palate - rich medium to full bodied with a long creamy elegant finish. Overall - really tasty.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A hazed dark brown coloured pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is big sweet chocolate fudge cake, earthy, grainy chocolate, little alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet toffee, rusty penny, chocolate, little metallic,. Artificial, powdered chocolate.. Tastes like a shitty Bateman beer.. Palate is medium sweet, grainy, creamy, little tart metallic finish. Not a huge fan.
