1 litre bottle, poured out of a keg I assume, from Smiling Grape. I didn't realise it was a still mulled cider so I'm actually drinking this fridge cold. Look - deep hazy purple/mahogany, no head. Nose - nice spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, undercurrent of apples. Taste - flavours carry through particularly the cinnamon and a slight tangy apple. However, its a bit light and lacks some depth to make it a great cider. Palate - light to medium bodied, some sweet oiliness which clings to the teeth Overall - nice flavours although lacks some alcohol bite.

From at hot vat at the Greyhound, Tidmarsh, 28/12/19. Golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is stewed apples, cinnamon, toasted brown sugar, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises apple pie, clove, brown sugar sprinkle, Cinnabuns, sweet edge, spice, stewed apples. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, warming (in the heat sense!) close. Ok winter warming affair.
