0.33 l bottle from Green Sheep Beers & Bar. Red color, thich white head that disappears quickly. The usual IPA aroma and taste with a strange twist, which might be the rye. Not bad, simply wasn’t meant for me.

From Tap at Marionett Craft Beer House, Budapest. Aroma of malty caramel, pine resin, some fruity notes, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Rather malty and piney.

Bottled@HBF2017. Slightly hazy amber colour with a mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is bready, caramelly, nutty and some mild floral, fruity and nectary notes. Flavour is fruity, sweet malty, some mild caramel, nuts and a bit spicy notes.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber/copper color, with a huge white bubbly head, a bit lacing, staying long. Aroma is malty, caramel, citrus hops. Taste is caramel, fruitiness, nice bitterness. Dry finish, oily texture, medium carbonation. Good Ipa.

Bottle 330ml. @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Synthesis Zodiak IPA ].Light unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, nutty, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, orange, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, nutty, dusty hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Kicsi, tartós hab, félbarna szín. Illata enyhe, füves, zöldfűszeres, pici citrusos beütéssel. Citrusos, déligyümölcsös, enyhén karamelles ízvilág, némi gyantás beütéssel. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű, kissé száraz. Ez a Zodiak már nem az a Zodiak, egyszerűen csak egy könnyed IPA.

A pohárból kifutó, örökké tartó hab. Félbarna. Ipás, erős gyantás illat. Gyümölcsös, grapefruitos, gyantás, malátás ízvilág. Kissé szénsavas. Mintaszerű, nagyon finom ipa. Kiválóan kiegyensúlyozott, jól iható, közepesen Testes sör.

Tap at the Start Craft Beer Bar, Budapest. Poured a hazy reddish amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, fruity metallic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a smooth rich malt, light fruit, pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Didn’t look so great but was nice and fresh and tasted fine.

Keg at Legfelsőbb Beeróság, Budapest. Hazy copper colour, small head. Generous tropical fruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and peach, some mango. Mid bitter finish.

On tap at Start Craft Beer Bar, Budapest as Zodiak Red IPA. Pours amber, off-white head. Caramel, malts, lots of rye, hops, fruity, citrus. Bitter finish. Medium bodied. Quite nice, rye dominates, can’t remember if I tasted anything similar.

bottle @ legenda sörfőzde pub (budapest) weird amber/red colour, normal body, semi carbonated, rye malt, strange hoppy taste, weird bitterness, some fruit aroma in the background and maybe pine, I don’t like it very much
