Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Stas. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, a bit of butter and a bit of cardboard. Sweet flavor, caramelly, with a slightly bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Dark amber/brownish coloured, small pale beige head that stays for a while, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, dried fruits and caramel with notes of chocolate and light spices. Surprisingly pleasant and not loaded with sugar.

50cl can from Maxima, Vilnius. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a tan head. Malty aroma with lots of caramel, some bready notes and hints of spices. Sweet and reminds me a little bit about kvass, but a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste. Certainly flavourful and quite nice, but not quite my cup of tea.

500ml can, kindly shared by djoeye. Decent off-white head over a clear, red-brown. Spotty lacing. Promising aroma of dried fruits, berries and slightly roasted malts. Caramel malts and dried fruity flavours, rather jam-like. Roasted malt bitter ending. Medium bodied. Nice and not too sweet. Best of the evening sampling beers from Lithuania (Tromsø 17.01.2014).
