Sample from 50 cl bottle. Slightly hazy, golden color with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with heavy perfumed notes, fruity impressions and pale malts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body. Finishes slightly dry with fruity notes and heavy perfumed notes. Way off....

Bottle@Borups - Golden pour with small white head. Sweet and artificial tasting aroma and taste, kind of medicinal and herbal notes, wheaty, not getting on with this.

I’m sure this was a fine beer before put in a green bottle. Skunky aroma. Some wheat and citrus in the flavor, but quality here is severely diminished as well. Clearly a light struck bottle, and the brewery pays the price in the score because they should know better. But at least it only cost $1 at Trader Joe’s in St. Louis Park, MN.

500 ml bottle from Trader Joe’s, as "Ekstra." Well, I just sold off my old car on eBay, and what do I celebrate with? A cheap Baltic wheat beer. Guess I’m too close to 800 to spare the Demolition I got in the same purchase. I’m not sure what my problem is, but when I open this bottle, I FINALLY KNOW WHAT SKUNK IS I’ve talked about it before, but that was just oxidation or stale hops. This was Honest-to-Ninkasi skunk. After that, it settled down a little bit. Pours a strange cloudy color in the glass under an authentic hefe head, at least. I still get whiffs of skunk, but close up, just a sort of weak weizen impression. Ropy stuff in the bottom of the bottle. Taste has lots of fusels, Granny Smith apple and Lemon Pledge. Maybe I’m still not at my best in this style in the first place, maybe this green bottle sat on a warm shelf too long, but I just did not like this.
