Big pounder can for 3$ at chalet premier. Pop the lid and bullshit, its gushing all over my table that bastard!! Pour is hazy off pale with a big white head. Mild off pine hop perfume nose. First big swig is dead on terribly on style IPA fer sher, whew. So bitter, it lasts on my palate and ruins its ability to taste for 15 mins after each big swig, whew. Some co2, but pretty much mouth coating & flat, blah. Can a cheap pale lager lover find anything interesting or attractive in this brew? NO, this is way too much for my girlie taste buds; its neither amusing, attractive, compelling nor delightful but its certainly exotic & fascinating, in a volatile darth vader sort of way; even if it is an insulting style. Yea, each new gulp thru the middle results in a flavor similar to chewing on rotting green grapefruit rinds churned together with pine sap. On the finish its kicking my ass and rototilling across the fields of my palate. I'm hoping to at least get a little buzz off this peculiar, odd, and strange style. Somebody please get me a cheap pale coors banquet beer in a stubby for a chaser, make that 2; QUICK! OK, I ticked it but I didn't say I enjoyed it. There you have it. In the end, oh yea, I am getting a little dizzy and happier. At least there is some positive characteristic I can contribute to this brew.
