Had this at Back Road Brewing Company in Milford. Draft came with sugar and cinnamon on the lip. I told them no treatment on the lip bit it came with it anyway. Smell is all in the toppings, can't really smell the beer. Brown with a foamy head. Tried to taste the beer without the toppings and it seems like a well mannered punky beer with no ill effects. Almost flat. Decent all around but I'm afraid the sugar and cinnamon skewed my taste buds, oh well.

12oz bottle...on first sniff it smells like a pretty simple ale....as it sits I do get the faint essense of pumpkin pie....taste is pleasant but nothing makes this stand out to me. Very basic pumpkin ale. Light bodied.

$2.50 bottle from Parkhurst Wine Shop at Rainbow Hill. No date on this one, but some other bottles from this place have been past best by date. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma is very much pumpkin pine: pumpkin spice, whipped cream, crust. Flavor is very similar, and pumpkin pie is one of the few sweets I like. This is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, crust, whipped cream. Finishes with a lingering bittering nutmeg/clove flavor. I like this a lot. No issues with freshness here, or if there was it's still good.
