From a black can this pours almost clear pale yellow. White foamy head fades rapidly. Nose is simply clean fresh lager beer with maybe a tad of sweetness. First taste is rather civilized and easy, I'm immediately liking this stuff. As a lager lover, who never got use to IPA hops, this stuff is refreshing and welcomed. Some hints of straw start to come thru on the nose and the taste does get a little more like fresh baled hay in the middle. Good level of co2 as well. Just an overall friendly and quaffable beer. Hardly any bitterness at all can be detected, if any. Actually, I could probably drink at least 3 of these in a row and still enjoy them. I should have bought a six pack of these. Can't really find anything negative about this fun brew, good stuff. Not even a hint of any processed feel in this at all. No hint of the 5.5% alky content within, a well-balanced cream ale. Very mild and affable. Thanks Paladin. One of the better brews I've had recently.
