Pours a clear amber from a bottle, faintly edges toward green, tons of lacing. Popping it open, I was immediately hit by a cantaloupe...aroma. Even though no huell melon, lots of jiucy melon, mango, and orange, basically a huge fruit salad. Flavor is similarly juicy and fruity before sliding down a slightly bitter pine slope. Very good beer.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma has tropicals which seem mango - hinting at dank. Malt? Med body. Flavor is dankish - has mango and then pine/citrus and then seems fairly dank. My tongue is hop ridden. Caramel is detectable - this isn’t super dry - but it’s hoppy and bitter. Yummy ale.

650ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, snow-white head. Intense, dank, sweaty, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango and passion fruit, earthy hints of blueberry. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, tropical fruity hoppy with the same notes of mango, passion fruit and blueberry recurring, now with more weight on the earthy blueberry portion. Well balanced, focused, intense but nonaggressive. Very good.

Bottle pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up flowery floral hops, pine hops and candy like malts. The taste delivers a big load of floral and pine like hops that hover above a modest degree of sweet maltiness. The malts grow and become somewhat distracting from the hoppy experience.

The Pigs Ear wrap up tasting at ChrisO’s. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and smooth, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mild creamy sweetness. Spicy pine hops, a little floral orange and tropical fruits underneath. Light semi dry finish. Nicely hopped.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-Xmas Tasting. It pours clear amber with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, lemon – lime, peach, toasty, some grass, light herbal accents and a hint of fennel. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, toasty, straw, lemon – lime, peach, lemongrass, spice and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty clean and drinkable. Not bad.
