Cask at Jewellers Arms, Birmingham. Pours golden amber with a medium sized foamy off-white head and excellent lacing. There’s a strong aroma of citrus with tangerine and melon there as well. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy but with a little underlying bitterness which gradually increases. Flavour has floral hops, stoen fruit and melon with hints of kiwi and lychee coming later. Finish is quite bitter. This is reasonable but too much fruity sharpness for my palate.

Bottle from local garden centre. Pours a clear amber with small off-white top, modest retention. Aroma of mixed dried fruits notably apricot, and flora. Taste of biscuit, burnt caramel, citrus rind, apricot, earthy and leafy bitter hop. Medium bodied, semi-drying. Decent. [Hops: UK Cascade, First Gold, Pilgrim]

Pale amber / deep gold with a frothy white head, and a slightly burnt caramel and floral aroma. The taste kicks off with a bitter kick, citrus notes up front with more floral characteristics in the background, with some sweet fruit malt also evident. The finish is long with a pretty high level of astringency

[50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring.] A bright amber pour with a close white head; dusty floral aroma; taste of apple and caramel, with an earthy bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.
