One of our early crowd pleasing inventions, which is a fantastic session bitter with subtle notes of toffee throughout and a nice bitter ending. A beer for traditional bitter Ale Drinker.

Hand-pulled pint in the Old Swan, Gargrave on 7th April 2024. Amber body, white crown which hung around. Malty front with a semi-sweetness that soon disappeared when the bittering hops arrived. Decent!

Cask @ Fox and Goose, Hebden Bridge. Darker amber with a glow and a head. Session bitter with some malts evident, but generally low in this and in its bitterness, whilst remaining easy to sup and flavoursome within its style.

Cask at The Waiting Room, Whitby. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light caramel and herbal hops. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swindon Beer Festival 25/10/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. A solid bitter that inclined towards the malty, with a touch of leafy hop, hedgerow fruit and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

23/7/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours amber with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, flowers, biscuit and a hint of pine. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fair.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Three Brothers The Ex Wife ]. ABV: 3.7%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, light nutty - grassy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, dusty, light nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171012] 6-3-6-3-12

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours clear golden amber, nose is toffee, lemon, taste is sweet, floral, light toffee.

On tap at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Rich golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malty, grain and a touch of caramel. Taste is light sweet to dryish finish. Creamy body, very drinkable.
