Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light messy lace.
Aroma: smoke, sweet wood, earthy vibes, grassy hops, light coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together in a semi-sweet earthy and roasted malty tone, finishes earthy and roasted malty
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness to this, roasty tones do not seem to bother the tongue
Overall: a very nicely done dark lager well worthy of returning to.

16 oz can. Aroma has dark chocolate, ash, coffee, roast. Flavor is bold. Lots of roasted malts giving chocolate, coffee, smoke, and caramel. The dryness for the texture is nice. So much bold malt that it is stout-like. This is pretty much one of the best I’ve ever had in this style.
