A rich full bodied oatmeal stout full of chocolate and coffee flavours great at 5.6% Alc. This one is for the dark beer lovers to enjoy. It is brewed with malted oats and barley and the gluten removed, an exceptional gluten free stout...

Pretty damn good for a gluten-free stout. Pretty thin, but otherwise it seems quite "normal". Good roast, a pleasant bitterness, some chocolate and a bit of resiny hops. Smooth.

Bottle thanks to Richard. Appearance - opaque black and with a generous fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate, with a light spice, something like ginger. Taste - more dark chocolate, in fact, chocolate biscuits. Palate - medium bodied and creamy in texture. Crunchy, lightly bitter finish. Overall - good, didn't miss the gluten.

Draught @ Tuulensuu. Aroma is somewhat mild with cocoa and semi-dark chocolate. Flavour has well roasted malt, some dark chocolate and hints of molasses. A bit fizzy palate. Finishes dry. A solid stout, perhaps a bit light though. Also the fizzy palate disturbs a bit.

500ml bottle conditioned: BBE Apr 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale badged glass tankard at home on 3rd Aug 2017. Bought from Moonshine & Fuggles, Ironbridge. Deep tanned top, black body. Malt laden nose and taste, very malty in fact; dark chocolate and black coffee esters and flavours throughout. Easy drinking Stout with a basic but strong roasted feel to it’s make up.

500ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Thanks Mike! Pours dark, black probably, with a thin tan head. Aroma is roast, cocoa, hints of caramel. Taste is smooth with subtle roast and echoes of caramel and dark fruits. Really quite a pleasant stout. Good stuff.
