Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB.
[ As Hopcraft Killing Joke ].
ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small average, frothy - fizzy, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops, light hop oil. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, earthy hops, hop bitter, pale malt, medium dry. Way to earthy hops to me ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171013]

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 7th June 2016. Clear gold with thin off-white part-lacing foam. Spicy, earthy and grassy hop aroma. Grassy in-mouth with citrus touch. A light, leafy herb bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied with a smoothish mouthfeel. Pleasant.
