Can from tfontana, thanks again! Solid black in color with a frothy tan head that persists. Rich roast chocolate and caramel on the nose. Light earthy and fruity flavor thrown in. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice Stout.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks bud. Aroma shows roasted barley, chocolate malt, oatmeal flake. The flavors all translate from the aroma. For a 7% the body is full with a thicker mouthful. Pretty well-made.

Pint can at home. Pours inky oily black with a thin tan to brown head. Nose is caramel and roasted malt, bit of coffee notes. Flavour is mostly sweet caramel and roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate. Long bitter finish

Pours a rich black from a can, nearly no head. Roasty aroma, some oatmeal cookie made with salted butter and chopped pecans. Guess I'm actually hungry not thirsty. Good beer.

Can pour into tulip glass from the brewery. Appearance is very dark, almost opaque, brown with nice sparkle at the sides of the glass, finger-width beige head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is luscious roasted malt, nuts, vanilla, hint of anise. Taste is roasted malt, light chocolate, oats. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation and dry, mildly bitter finish. Overall, nice across the board--aroma slightly more interesting than taste.
