Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: dark amber color with a sly transparency around the edges; two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: caramel/toffee sweetness up front, some bready notes, light mineral water notes, light earthiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality; finishes sweet through the malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue, good carb level, no hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: I see this closer to a Marzen and one I would frequent again.

Pours clear gold into a stein. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel, bread and biscuit aromas. Medium bodied with earthy sourdough and tart apricot upfront turning to dry golden syrup in the medium length finish.

16 oz. can from Bier Cellar, Portland, Maine. The can almost died in transit back home. Pours a clear dark gold color with a white head. Malty aroma. Clean and smooth malty lager with some caramel flavor. Definitely a European Oktoberfest beer. Simple and straightforward. No bitterness.

16 oz. can. Dated: 09-30-21. A near clear orange-ish color. Aroma is light earth-like grain. Flavor has the Solid amount of malt with a touch of yeast in the finish. I don’t get any spice or anything similar to spice. Body is on the lighter side of medium. Fall short of the Authentic German marzens but still well made.
