Can (4/7/21) pour from the brewery courtesy of trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque black (dark brown at the bottom of the glass) with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width, fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted peanut/hazlenuts, earthy malt, coffee and lighter vanilla. Taste is strong peanut/hazlenut, roasted malt/coffee, lactose and lighter vanilla again. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, if anything, I wanted more vanilla (so that might be a little disappointing). However, really nice nuttiness balanced with roasted quality and lactose/vanilla and mouthfeel is great. Very nice!

16 oz. can. Date: 04/07/21. Aroma is pleasant. Roast, mild vanilla and dry peanut. Flavor is soft vanilla, chocolate, and somewhat chalky peanut butter. Medium plus body with a slight bit of chocolate finish. Balanced. Got to be honest for a lower ABV this is has a ton of flavor.
