Tasting at Andrey's, bottle, 4 years old
Black colour. Balanced dark brew, not too roasty, with dominant sour note, well integrated, but still I consider it unnecessary for stouts; touch of red wine and blackberries, a bit earthy.

Spannendes Bier. Erst zu kalt getrunken, da war es nur sauer, aber mit der Wärme entfaltet es seine vollen Aromen. Rotwein, dann Schokolade, im Abgang röstig, bitter.

375 ml bottle. Pots a dark brown with full head. Aromas and flavors of raisins, tart cherries and caramel malts. Ok if you like tart malty brews

Taste is slightly dry, tart-ish, vinous fruity, dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, notes of blue grapes, morello, a dry touch of oak, leather, fruit parings, subtle caramel sweetness, very cautious Bourbon overtones.

Bottle at Craigs, small creamy brown head, opaque black color, woody aroma with lots of funk amd a hint of vinegar, bready flavor with a mellow strong piercing vinegar sourness. Really nice and enjoyable, though probably infected.
