Dark as midnight with a thick tan of aromatics of coffee and cardamom, our Belgian Stout demands an audience with your tongue. Its complexity of bold flavors of cocoa and cinnamon are only upstaged by its sheer ease of drink-ability—a rarity with more common stouts.

Has most of the characteristics of a standard belgian-style Stout. Very rich rosti black and color tan head lots of yeast and wine qualities both in Aroma and flavor. A little bit of alcohol warmth in the Finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Xmas Tasting 2015. It pours darkest brown with a thick beige head. The nose is toasted, earthy, charred wood, burnt treacle, toffee, cacao nibs and dark fruits. The taste is bitter, toasted, earth, woody, spice, warming alcohol, candy sugars, leather, dark fruits and chewy malt with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Interesting and pretty well constructed. Decent.
