Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'affumicato. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma destinata a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è leggero. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, pane, cracker, agrumi, arancia, mandarino, affumicato ed erbe aromatiche.

A clear golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of intense smoked malt, peated malt, whiskey. Taste of smoked and mild peated malt, whiskey, pale malt.

Smooth mild beginning. Hints of smoke with a fruity malty back. Nice smoke malt in the end. great.

18th October 2023, tasting with minutemat at my place, this was a shared sample from Grumbo. Misted golden body, no head. Light smoked ham aroma and taste, peaty.

Sample thanks to grumbo, shared with blackhaddock. Murky gold in the glass, charred caramelised smoked meat aroma, continues to taste presenting a pleasant balanced smoked character. Decent.

24/9/2023. Bottle courtesy of Teemu. 5.0% abv. Region #430. Finnish region 15/19. Pours almost clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is smoked, malts, grains, old campfire and smouldering socks. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with mild smokiness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Not a style I’m especially fond of, some I like but this one didn’t work so well for me.

Draught@HBF2017. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, some smoked notes a bit toasted notes with some grainy and herbal notes. Flavour is floral, some smoked wooden notes as well as mild corn and toast.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden, rich head. Rich smoky nose with some salmiak. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Rich licorice and charkuterie smoke. Low bitterness. Nice!
