Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Faded yellow pout with little in the way of a head. Nose is light puss, custard yoghurt, modest funk, stoned fruits. Taste comprises green berry must, sharp citric zest, wood must, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, white grape skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good acidic wash up. Decent.

Bottle shared at Alex's birthday. Thanks Aaron! Pours a clearish gold with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Lovely tart lemon, pawpaw, and dried apricot aromas. Tart but not overly so on the palate. Oaky, creamy notes with some wild honey, apricot and light melon notes. Lingering finish with gooseberry and faint lemon honey. --- Beer merged from original tick of Carolina Custard on 22 Feb 2019 at 23:30 - Score: 8

very pale golden color. No head. Very sweet with modest tartness. The nose is just like custard. Low carbonation tons of lime custard, low medium sourness. Very well balanced . Don’t know how they can make it seem like a lime custard so well. Excellent.

Tap into a taster at MBCT showing well filtered straw with no head. The nose shows forward clean notes of flower and light sweet custard. The palate is lightly carbonated and medium bodied. Lightly tart with light notes of flower and lemon. Clean and very easy drinking.

Tap @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Tokyo, Yellow Session. Light yellow pour, no foam. Nose has custard sweetness and feels pie-like. Lacto and tart acidity. Pretty nice. Tastes tart, custard sourness (if that is a thing). Actually very nice pastry sour, all sweet pastry flavours expertly displayed and overall is still not too sweet.

(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours a pale gold with a white head. Notes of sweet vague fruity creamy notes that recall some type of custard apple thing (I have not had pawpaw), lightly sour white wine, grapes, malt with a bit of bready yeast character, soft wood, just a little bit funky. Pretty well balanced. Finish is tart and fairly dry with a touch of residual sweetness. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Interesting stuff, not being familiar with the adjunct, it worked quite well in this context.
