On tap pour into taster cup at Craft Brew Race Portland. Appearance is nice golden yellow, no discernible sparkle, decent foamy pillow of white head. Aroma is strong citrus, tropical fruit. Taste is herb dominant but not musky, buoyed by fruit that isn't allowed to shine through, mild grapefruit. Not much citrus. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with hint of bitterness. Overall, some nice features but taste doesn't live up to aroma. Still pretty good.

16 oz. can from Spruce Creek Provisions. Appearance is a slightly hazy crisp gold. Foamy head with some lace. Aroma shows citrus, floral and light grain. The grain bill is light and the hops give a slight juicy texture. Just a light trace of unfermented sugar toward the finish. Otherwise, a pretty reasonable IPA.
