Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: amber color with a sly transparency about it; one finger white foamy head which slid off fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: slightly like pomme-like fruity tones with a caramel/toffee maltiness and some wet grains
Flavor: does a decent job of combining the prior noted aromas to a fair malty sweet and bready-like quality; finishes somewhat caramel malty
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; smooth along the tongue
Overall: it's good with some tacos, I must say that which is when I come back to this one.

12oz bottle. This shows me a clear Amber color with nearly no head. Aroma of fruity hops, grains, with sweet caramel/ toffee malts. Sweet malt flavors, caramel and toffee, with slightly fruity hop finish. Mild lager yeast lingers. Exactly as it should be for the style. Brewed well, just hard for me to get excited about this style.

Bottle from the mixed pack at Hannaford. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a thin but long lasting tightly bubbled off white head that persists. Rich bready toasty maltiness with bits of floral hop on the nose. Flavor is rich and malty with a touch of melanoidin. Faint fruit and sulfur but an otherwise great attempt at a classic German style.
