Can from East Derry dated 12/14/16. Hazy Murky deep yellow tang color with a thin bubbly white head that persists. Juicy citrus and melon with a hint of milk stout on the nose. Bitter creamy weird citrusy tropical fruit flavor. Somewhat harsh bitterness lingers deep into the finish and after. Light buttery diacetyl flavor. Meh. It almost seems like they tried to soften an overly harsh IPA by adding lactose. Drinkable but not world class.

Taster at the source hazy orange gold with a nice white head. Aromas of tropical notes with citrus and pine. Taste is juicy citrus caramel and balanced hop. Nicely done.

16 oz. can with a date of 8/18/2016. Was lactose added to this IPA?? I am very glad I read thepatrickmam’s review! It smells nice but lactose would destroy my stomach.

Also, I could figure out what the strange note in the flavor was. The sweetness is overwhelming and the lactose does make sense. I guess the Brewer was aiming for the popularity of the "milkshake IPA’s" that Tired Hands has brewed recently. I am so happy to have a New Hampshire reviewer having sampled this before me to save me from a very unpleasant experience. Cheers Patrick!
