On tap at Portsmouth, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light tart raspberries upfront, with a touch of chocolate. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with lots of artificially sweet raspberries. This just doesn't come together tastefully.

4 oz taster at the source. Pitch black on a Nitro pour. Aroma is very light chocolate with a mega ton for raspberry.
The bartender informed me the Brewer used over 100 pounds of raspberries in this batch. The berry flavor is natural and lasts through the entire sip. The down fall here is the body is really thin and the chocolate is mild. No real roast comes through. It’s not bad. Some more body and bolder roast would help this stout a great deal.
