A refreshing pale ale with the hoppiness and punch of an IPA but session strength! Named after Richmond Parks sinister-sounding Killcat Corner.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 27th July 2016. Crystal clear amber gold with creamy white lacing foam. Grassy, herby aroma with fine citrus hint. The liquid pass is soft, nutty malts in harmony with tangerine citrus and grassy hops. Grassy bitterness dominates the finish, whilst a little malt remains. Smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. A good rounded, enjoyable pale ale.

Almost clear gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Dry pale malts, slightly sweet. Modest grapefruit hop. Some dusty bitterness. Trace of sweet esters. Light dry finish. Passable.

Cask gravity at Croydon Craft 2016. It pours clear amber with a decent bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, orange blossom, peach, apricot, gooseberry, brioche and orange muffin. The taste is smooth, bitter, oily, orange sponge cake, waxy citrus, orange blossom, straw, pepper and cereal with a dry, citrusy finish. Light - medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Not bad, could be done with a touch more carbonation.

Cask at the Finborough Arms - London. Pours clear gold with a white foam head. The nose holds grapefruit and, to a lesser extent, tangerine. Juicy, moderately sweet with pale bread, along with nice melon and grapefruit character, and mild rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation; good condition. Nicely juicy and citrusy to close. Solid offering.

Cask at the 21st Egham Beer Festival. A hazy pale straw pour; with a tropical fruit aroma; and a soft tropical fruit taste, with pineapple to the fore; and a lingering fruity finish.

Cask at the Finborough Arms, 17/01/15. Very lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is light citric peel, melon, straw, lemon rind, pale malt. Taste comprises much the same, grassy, citric peel, lemon, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok golden blonde, wouldn’t have this down as a SIPA, lacks hop presence.

Cask at the finborough arms. Pale yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting loose speckled head. Aroma is wheat grains, berry, light earthy citrus notes, blackberry. Flavour is grainy wheat, base malts, earthy citrus, hedgerow hops, berry. Little rough round the edges but the balance is good, palate is medium light, grainy, good cask condition. Decent authentic tasting pale ale.
