Draught @ MBWF 2017 [ Malmö- Öl & Whiskyfestival 2017 ], Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden. [ As West Coast Beersmiths MonoHop Amarillo Double IPA ].ABV: 8.5%. Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, floral, tangarine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tangarine, floral, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Clearly some hops in the aroma, but they somehow manage to come out soapy, or like detergent. Not particularly rich in bosy, some fruitiness and a solid, late bitterness that has a somewhat raw side to it. A bit aggressive and unrefined. 090317

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 29 Sep 2016) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, passion-fruit and resin. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, resin, chewy malt and a generous citric bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a generous Amarillo character. Nice one.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy bitter aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish.

Lys brun klar med høyt beige skum. Amarilloen er godt til stede, sydhavsfrukter, fersken og sitrus. Fyldig. Kjenner alkoholen, middels pluss i bitterhet. Moden ananas, noe karamell. Middels lang.

Unclear yellow golden color with a lovely white head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Nice hoppy intensity in the aroma, Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Semi dry texture. Citric, pine, tropical and a mellow fine malty back. Unbeliable solid and balanced ale. Mellow sweetness and a fine bitterness. Very well masked alcohol. Lovely fresh and tasty hop juice for everyone!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy pale golden, small head. Rich aroma of overripe mango with notes of grapefruit. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sugar, honey and mango jam. Mid bitter finish. Too sweet and with too clean mouthfeel.
