Can to tulip.
Appearance: a three finger white foamy head sits atop an amber to bronze colored body. Once the head slid off, some messy lace stuck to my glass.
Aroma: thick resinous hops coat extra piney hops and add a layer of floral bittersweet hops then caramel/toffee malts make a play to balance but falls just a wee bit short as the hops stay as the main feature here
Flavor: bittersweet blending the malts and all the different hops the brewer added; long bittersweet aftertaste of hops and malts
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper, semi-smooth but also some abrasive-ness to my tongue, a little chewy here, finishes with the resinous hops
Overall: it doesn't get more old school than this and I bet if I had another can to age it might turn into a barleywine. I'd have this again.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple and tropical notes. Taste has soft tropical fruit notes. Palate has lightly bitter hop notes on the nose, continues malt and fruit notes on the tongue. Good.

Pours a ruddy brown from a can, lots of lacing. Lemon and citrus aroma and flavor, a bit of black pepper notes in the mouth. Hides the alcohol well. Good beer.

Pours clear deep gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Dark caramel and citrus aromas. Lemongrass and hot toffee front to back. Lasting sweet dank resin finish. Old school dipa.

Fresh 22 oz. bottle thanks to Rob B. Huge fluffy white head with strong head retention. Awesome aroma! Citrusy, resiny lightly earthy and somewhat dank. Juicy hops. Flavor is dank, green leafy hop flavors, big citrus with hints of pineapple juice, tropical fruits of mango and spicy. Oily / slick hop oil finish with a strong bread and caramel backbone. The bitterness lingers for a good while and shows the juicy fruity hops right after the sip. This is finely crafted DIPA and a joy to drink. Any hophead should be pleased with a fresh sample!

Bottle - thanks to Reynolds314! Pours cloudy orange with a medium puffy off-white head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is buttery with strong pine, floral and citrus notes. Flavor is the same, medium sweet buttery biscuit and light bitter pine and citrus. Full body and creamy oily mouthfeel. Nice enough effort, but not really standing out of the pack.
