On tap at the source. Comes to the table a solid black with a small tan head that seems perpetual. Smells of caramel coffee and a hint of chocolate. Little if any hop is present in the aroma. The flavor is roasty with coffee and burnt sugar with just a hint of chocolate and a light fruity tartness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Good stout, but lacking something that I can’t quite put my finger on. Needs a bit more creaminess in the mouthfeel for an oatmeal stout too.

Draft. Typical color. Ok , thin tan head. Light spider web lace. Nose is mostly roasted malt, light coffee. Body is very light. Easy going simple, striaght forward stout. The brewers example of a dry stout. no flaws. Decent. Sweet stout??? I don’t get sweetness much at all.
