Cask at the Saffrons taproom. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, woody hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a rich, smooth, herbal, aromatic, big hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on St George’s Day, 2025. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Lush aroma of earthy pungency, spiciness and maltiness. Citrus peel and tangy fruits in-mouth. Citrus zest dominates the finish. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester as part of their 'From Sussex with Love' festival, July 2022. Light to mid-golden, clear with the thinnest possible ring of white head. Sticky resinous aroma with sugared butter, Sussex pond pudding, citrus-infused caramel. Sweet taste with hoppy bitterness asserting itself through to the finish. Oh my days. An amazing cask IPA.

Cask gravity at Beer Seller Tonbridge. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Slightly sweet syrup malts. Peach pear fruit salad. Just a bit too sweet. Some bitterness on the finish. Settles down. Like a tin of fruit cocktail . Decent
