With backbreaking work we managed to get copious amounts of blueberries crammed into our fermenters, tumbling about with a generously hopped coffee infused imperial stout. The making of it turned us all into hunchbacks but we think it was worth every crooked vertebra in our bodies.

Bottle. Black body with a big, dense brown head. Pleasant, rather mild aroma of malt and fruit. Flavor feels a bit odd, toasted malt, coffee and fruit/berries. It doesn't have to be wrong to mix coffee and blueberries (think cake) but I found this version a bit unbalanced somehow. Fine body, average aftertaste and definitively drinkable and interesting.

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget Uppsala, bb Dec 2018.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of coffee, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, moderate blueberries, some liquorice, subtle lactose.
Tastes quite similar, with a bit more blueberries and lactose, but less diverse than the nose.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty, a bit dry, slightly sweet, a bit wooden, a bit milky, with coffee, cocoa, some blueberries.

Very nice. Maybe a bit lighter bodied for the style, but really smooth and balanced, with well integrated coffee and blueberries. Alcohol is completely hidden. Enjoyable, well drinkable stuff.

Coal black stuff with a fine beige head. Ok lacing and a fine pleasant aroma. Some blueberry even there. Medium + body and a fine smooth carbonation level. Creamy texture and a fine mellow sweetness. Dark malt, chocolate, toffee, roast and blueberry. A really lovely, tasty and pleasant impy. Absolutely recommendable.
