Sample at SBWF 2016. Black with a tan head. On the sweet side with roasted malt, ash, licorice and light notes of plastic. The body was around medium and the finish with warming alcohol. A drinkable one.

33 cl bottle at SMÖF 2015, October 24.Black color, brown head. Sweet, alcohol, light fruity scent. Malty, alcohol, solvents taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. What is the nitro part in this? Certainly being this fizzy there’s a lot of CO2 in it?

Bottled (thanks omhper!). More or less pitch black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is ashes and some mild wooden, resiny and floral notes. Flavour is ashes, some liquorice, mild tart wooden and resiny notes as well as some toffee. The sour/tart notes seems to come from flaws in brewing, but otherwise this is quite decent.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with rich creamy head. Orangey nose with chalk and aniseed. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice and aniseed, some dusty asphalt and creamy fudge. Warming finish with mild resiny bitterness. Somewhat unpolished and chemical, but in contrast to previous experiences with this brewer the qualities are more evident than the flaws. A big step in the right direction.

Bottle from web SB cons 2015-06-23 Göteborg AR: roasted malt, sour coffey, chocolate AP: black, high dirty grey brown steady frothy foam, nice layered curtains F: roasted malt, warming feeling, wee carbonation (followed the Brewers instruction to dump the beer in the glas), coffey, chocolate, tar, tobaco, liqurice (salty), actually pretty ok for this brewery - the last one was not ok
