375mL bottle, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light brett, a touch of floral notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is very dry and yeasty, with plenty of brett, fairly sharp astringency, and bone dry biscuity malt. Bone dry and somewhat harshly bitter. Not overly complex, but it works.

Very pale, straw. No head. The aroma has a woody, wet straw aroma, with a grassy note as well. Thin body. Quite dry. Woody, with a light fruitiness. Either wouldn’t mind some more malt sweetness or more complexity. Bit of an appley off-note, but that’s really subtle.

Bottle, poured to a tulip. There was some sort of thick, crud lining the bottle neck, which was kind of disturbing. Hazy, light yellow color, with a medium, fizzy, white head. The nose is lemon juice, sage, latex, resin, and light mustiness. A bit sweet, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Light to medium body, silky, smooth, and just a little acidic. This is a light and refreshing beer, with an easy and approachable funk.

I try to not judge a book by its cover, but this a cool looking bottle, and honestly, it sold me 95% of the way. Also has me sitting here wondering how I missed this during my visit to Denver last year. I suppose there is a couple breweries out there, so I wont beat myself up to hard. Next time though, this is good stuff. Pale yellowish color with an active fizz head. Has a Belgian like aroma with straw grains and yeast. Flavor is cool and tart, with a straw heavy front, and a lemon like tartness to follow. Just a refreshing saison. Has a strong bite of carb that fits in nicely. A fun amalgam of tart Belgian ale like flavors. Not the most outstanding saison around, but a solid feature for sure.

12.7 oz bottle brought back by my wife from Seattle. Aroma is bretty, cheese, earth, soap. Pours a really pale light yellow with a good-sized bleach-white head with great retention and a little lace. Taste is sour (6/10) and lightly dry with flavors of lemon, brett. Carbonation stops just short of champagne-level, texture is watery. Not too shabby.

Enjoyed on tap at Trve Brewery in Denver, CO as part of a sampler. Appearance is a bright and cloudy golden yellow with a light white head. Aroma of light yeast and sour. Taste is decent, yeast really shines through on this one, overall decent farmhouse ale.

Bottle - pours yellow white head - nose and taste of spicy yeast, lemongrass, oak and light wine - med body

375ml bottle - lively pour, turbid straw color, thick, well-sustained head - looks quite nice - nose is medium dry, with strong herbal notes (chamomile and dandelion, mostly), lemon, grass, light tartness/acidity, the tiniest bit of funk and white pepper - very soft carbonation, making it a little flat in the mouth, with is my one major complaint here - flavor’s decent though - a bit of lemon cream sweetness, but then it dries out and brings moderate herbal bitterness (think yarrow), some peppery phenolics, mild to moderate acidity, some dusty yeast, lemon verbena, dandelion - pretty well put-together should probably be listed as a Saison, though - I’ll have to start giving TRVE more chances now, I guess.
