Old School is a collab with our dear friends from Kinn Bryggeri. We wanted to go back to the roots of classic West Coast IPAs that has in so many ways, been an introduction to, and shaped the love we have for craft beer. For this beer we decided to lean heavy on Nugget and Cascade, with a touch of Simcoe.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Clear dark amber body under a low, but remaining off-white head, upper part lacing on the glass. Appealing aromas of mild caramel malts, grain, and ripe fruits. Well balanced taste of bread like malts, caramel moments and ripe citrus fruit followed by a piney twist towards a rounded bittersweet tail. Fine bodied. Likeable. (Tromsø, 05.11.2024).

Can. It's a clear, dark golden to amber colored beer with a small, dense off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma has some nice malts in the back, caramel and bread crust, but it's piney, resiny and lightly grapefruity/tropical hops that run the show. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, borderline warming, and with a gentle sweetness easily overpowered by bitterness. The flavor has piney, grapefruity and resiny hops up front, with bready malts and notes of caramel as a backdrop. Some grassy and tropical fruit hints too. Quite long hop driven finish with bitterness and fruityness. Really love to see the world seems to be turning towards West Coast IPA's again. NEIPA's and such are nice for sure, but no IPA style beats a good classic West Coast style IPA. 241027
