Note: Formerly known as Cuvée 800.

750ml bottle, probably sat on excessively, though officially still 7 months until expiration. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-tan. Respectable lively carbonation and head.. Pleasant and surprisingly light for anything that has the word cuvee in it. Drinks like a Belgian Pale Ale, perhaps a little hoppier than typical. Not really that stupendousof an offering, has picked up some cardboard, oxidation issues perhaps as well. OK.

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Hazy pale yellow color, decent sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hayish, nicely bitter, nicely hoppy, hayish grassy hops. I quite like this one. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all, I like it.

Small bottle, 6%. Smooth with a yeasty smooth beginning. Mild, sourish hints, fruity, easy to drink with a nice refreshing sourness. Nice and moderate floral in the end.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 3/8/2018. Pours lightly hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, peppercorn, coriander, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, peppercorn, coriander, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness and herbal, grassy, citrus peel hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apple, citrus peel, peppercorn, coriander, clove, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a delicious Belgian blonde ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and pretty refreshing to drink with the balanced bitter/spicy/drying finish. Really great balance between yeast/hop flavors; with solid pils malt backing, and no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
