(Bryggerifestivalen i Trondheim 2025-08-02.) Disig, brunlig mahogny i farge. Beskjedent skum, men gir litt blonder. Aroma er preget av røyk. Mye malt og litt kjeks. Har endel sødme og fylde, men føles ikke for søtt ut. Litt beskjeded på CO2, men er grei nok. Generelt et godt og særpreget øl.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. A clear golden-brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is smoked and caramel-ish, fruity, with bread and some ham. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness bringing balance. Smoked malt, caramel, bread and some ham in the flavor, supported by fruity and lightly grassy hops. Medium length finish. A decent one. 240802

Flat, just some bubbles, slightly cloudy amber color. Aroma is slightly dry smoked, shed, smoked weeds, bark, minerals, grass, yeast, soil, leather, leafs, hints of caramel malts. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish smoked, soil, smoked weeds, bark, grass, caramel malts, shed, yeast, minerals, leafs. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish smoked mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Thanks to yngwie for sharing. Low beige head, hazy dark amber body, fair lacing. Inviting malt-driven aromas, moderately smoked. Mixed malt-forward taste profile, impacts of smoked malts and caramel. Prolonged ending. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Trondheim, 02.08.2024).

Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Unclear amber/orange body under a small but dense tan head. Aroma of malt with a nice, balanced mild smoke character. Taste is sweet crystal malt, distinct smoke, dry meat and low bitterness. Balanced body with a fine, long lasting aftertaste.
