Bottle shared in London - cheers to Cloun. Pours brownish with a dense, creamy topping. Musty wood and earth in the nose, some old leather. Light sweet flavour with notes of dried berries, more earth, leather, very slight roast. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with more leather berrie, very subtle cocoa, earthy hops. So so overall.

Bottle split at L42, from the brewery, 09/02/17. Dark mahogany brown with a big old ... too big cream head. Nose is brown bread, spice, charr, toffee, hop dusting, light red berry. Taste comprises faint pine, treacle toffee, spice, charr, faint cocoa, earthy tones. Medium bodied, fine to prickly carbonation, drying close with light hop bitterness. Average for style but a sippable number.
