Pigs Ear. The Round Church, Hackney. Cask. Clear very dark red beer. Small bubbly pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth mellow dark malts. Light touch of dark fruits underneath. The coconut was used sparingly and provides a pleasant background sweetness. Finishes smooth with all flavours in good balance. Good stuff.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2013. Black beer lasting tan head. Lots of chocolate on aroma. Coconut comes through later. Bit like a Bounty Bar. Coconut milk flavour. Pretty tasty. More chocolate than coconut.
