Every now and then we get the urge to plunder the riches of traditional Scottish beer-making in search of liquid gold. Obviously this traditional Scottish export ale is more copper than gold but you get the idea.
Lowlander is a tribute to this hallowed beer style and unsurprisingly, it’s the malts that take centre stage with layers and layers of complexity... toasty, sticky dried fruit and luscious caramel are all intertwined with just a gentle hop resin coming through in the background.

Can from Great Grog. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Malty and bready aromas. Taste adds dried fruit and caramel. Clean finish.
