Late Star is a classic British ESB, with a deep orange colour. The carefully selected English hops present a bouquet of Lemon and Grass with Marmalade and Caramel coming through on the tongue. The bottle conditioning works to present this beer in its purest form.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 22 Nov 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with toast, dried fruit and apricots. Malty taste with notes of roasted malt, dark fruit, a touch of chocolate, orange peel and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well made premium bitter. Nice one.

Draught@Little Pub, Vaasa. Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is nicely fruity, some berries, mild sweet malts as well as some slight resin to it. Flavour is fruity, mild red berries, some sweet malts, resin and a nice mellow bitterness to it. Quite bodied even though a bit on the sweeter side of an ESB. Quaffable.

Tap at Ravintola Kirjakauppa, Pori. Clear copper color, small steady off-white head. Light malty, a bit rubbery nose. Light-bodied. Very easy. Light maltyness, light riped tropical fruits, sweetish finish. Clean but boring.

(Keg at Punavuoren Ahven, 20170311) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, earth and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. A decent bitter with some weird sidenotes.
