The Sipsey River is a beautiful 145 mile pristine river surrounded by wetland habitat and gorgeous wilderness. It was the inspiration for our award winning Sipsey River Red Ale. The perfect balance of fragrant European hops and malty goodness sets this red ale apart. Smooth, colorful and fragrant like our namesake!

Earthy and woody aroma, malty. Copper color. Flavor is woody and earthy, minimally sweet, moderate floral and spicy hoppy bitterness. Dry finish. Gets sweeter as it warms.

Truly abysmal, in a way that makes me think some horrible error was made in the brewing process. Red ales shouldn’t taste like SweeTarts. Fruity and tangy with a touch of funk; maybe some wild yeast got in the mix. Rough stuff.

4oz Pour at Hop City. Reddish with a frothy head. Mild caramel aroma with berries. Taste is mildly bitter with a light berry tartness at the end. Refreshing. Decent.
