Cask at the Brewpub. It pours gazed deep brown with a small off-white head. The nose is earthy, toasty, brown bread, chocolate, light spice and orange fruits. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, jammy blueberry, touch of earth, brown bread, cacao nibs with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Well - rounded and moreish. Good mild.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Hazed chestnut amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is pretty hopped up for the style, candied fruit, floral, toffee. Taste comprises earthy hops, candy bar, bitter orange, cocoa powder, fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent brew but massively hopped for a mild, reminded me of various US brew pub attempts at the style.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear brown with a frothy, light khaki head. Toasty brown bread in the nose, with accents of grain and orange. Light sweet flavor with a pleasant citrus hop edge, more toasted bready malts, hints of earth and cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish, more toast, mellow bitter earth, dry cocoa, earth. Very nice mild.
